Family Day Care Educators Professional Development Day

The professional development day in May was a huge success so Community Child Care has increased the limit on this professional development day to 90 participants. The day will have a keynote address on Change Management – Leading through Change and then three breakaway sessions –
•    Tools for Critical Reflection and Action
•    Programming in light of the Frameworks and Regulations
•    Juggling children 0-12years together successfully in FDC
The breakaway sessions will be delivered twice throughout the day (morning and afternoon).

As we have limited spots get your registration form and payment in as soon as possible to secure your place.

The Early Years Learning Framework online forum closed on 9 April 2010.

The forum was established to encourage people in the early childhood sector to share their views with each other and with the Australian Government about the draft Educators’ Guide to the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (the Educators’ Guide).
The development of the Educators’ Guide has taken into account feedback received from the forum. It is anticipated that the Educators’ Guide will be released in mid 2010 and will be widely distributed to early childhood services. The Educators' Guide will also be available on the Department's website together with a web-based training package.
Further information on the EYLF and its implementation will be published as it becomes available here
